Yellow Army went places!

It’s the Yellow Army! and they went places today, mostly Klang Valley area to promote and perform “Switch to DiGI” campaign. it’s kinda late when MNP nationwide was launch a month ago, will this be a successful effort?

1000 army went places to also celebrate DiGi’s nationwide MNP-switch marketing campaign launch, a step ahead to get more mobile users to switch to DiGi. we heard that Yellow and Blue is now having a tough fighting, one to increase sales to become the second larger, and the other one to get back the people who left, to increase back the numbers and maintain the position. the gap is very very close.

Maxis seems to be so strong and silent at it’s stable position.

Since MNP launch a while ago, we’ve seen lot of people taking opportunity to switch network, biggest reason as obvious - network. another reason is the ‘customer service’ itself. there are also many who switch to other network and return after experiencing less satisfaction.. at least MNP allows people to choose the best of what they can have, not best of any network can offer.

Nation Building

what is nation building?

people are getting thirsty or hunger of informations related to the country and Project Malaysia is here today, to feed us with informations needed, in one online journal. from what I understand,  only one thematic issue discussed in a month-long period. topic starter is the PM (read : Project Malaysia) itself, and we can all contribute to the discussions if necessary, and if you do have a very, very good point, do come forward and leave them a comment or two.

as for this month, the topic is “The due administration of justice”, read it.

MNP, mobile number portability - nationwide launch

today, 15 October 2008 is a nationwide MNP lauch. for you who dont already know, it allows all mobile phone users to switch network without having to change their number, not even a digit of it. for example, you own 0123456789 and currently a Maxis customer, you can switch from Maxis to your preferred network, say, U-Mobile, which currently using 018. so when the change of network done, your are now a U-Mobile customer, and your mobile number is still 0123456789.

for some, they might ask, what’s the good of this? but for some, they have been waiting for this long time ago.. having this option, you have become more powerful, where telco company (currently Maxis, Celcom, DiGi, U-Mobile, Happy) will have no option but to prepare a very good deal for customers, to avoid their customer running away to other telco.

cost of switching network? well absolutely zero.

there are thousands of customers who long disappointed with service provided by their current network, but never change to other just because of the number. now with MNP, it’s the best time to proceed without loosing numbers, and look for better option. for those who look for better coverage and better rates, for sure will be happy for this!

DiGi 3G Broadband update

The name of first hundred users was announced few days back, this will be the few people who will first test the service and give feedback. and no, I am not listed in the 100 names list *sigh. I was informed that the 100 people was selected by area of living as one of the criteria and do not really know what’s the other criterias. testing the service? yeah lucky me that i was given the chance to try surfing using my friend’s LG Viewty, and streaming Youtube was awesome, no buffering at all..  let see if the performance is this best after launch
