an evening tea at bukit sentosa

Tags:

2 years ago I was working at Bukit Sentosa, or if you dont know where, it’s just next to Bukit Beruntung, somewhere near Rawang, and far far away from my home, Klang/Shah Alam. I was there for a couple of months and to be specific, I do some web design business, all alone.

why too far? hmm, it’s kinda complicated to tell you the whole story. to make it simple, I found a way to stand on my own feet. I was excited back then when I had to have my own office, which is out of the city (as what I prefer). so peaceful that every morning I can have my own breakfast, having tea in the evening and at night, taking my supper all alone in a very peaceful small town without any disturbance. plus, during that period of time, I really need to get away of town for I was too comfortable with failure. it was the time that I have to make a big change and move forward. change all, start fresh.

though it has not went so well, I did learned a lot about running business. I also learned that luck is not something undescribeable, rather luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity. or in simple math, “luck = prepared + opportunity”. and that is what I believe.

tea treat

it is said that memory last forever, and today the memory bring me back to the town, having an evening tea at Golden Cow Kopitian where I used to have my daily breakfast and tea.. do you know how does it feel when you get back to a place which hold some kind of memory which is worthy? it makes me feel confident, strong, and definitely sentimental.

I believe most of us holds a secret and/or great memory. this is just small part of mine. what’s yours?

Sometimes, I do feel that some memories are best to be kept to ourselves. And if it’s a secret, it will no longer be a secret if you share it with other people, right? =D

Mmmph kaya toasts are my personal favourite :) not to mention a cup of teh-o-ais and half-boiled eggs. I’m glad that you’ve enjoyed every single moment of your job - I wish everyone could be as optimistic and appreciative of life as you do. Many people are way too concerned about monetary gains that they’ve lost sight of what is important - your quality of life, which doesn’t solely depend on your income. People like you who knows how to appreciate every single bit of their lives will find life extremely enriching and enthralling.

My sweetest memory so far was the days when I was studying in Singapore. I would sit in McDonalds for hours, studying and slurping on coke (which gave me quite a few cavities!), a trip to the ice-cream parlous, a short chat with a kind lady at the grocery store, chocolate fantasies, reading novels on a lazy Sunday afternoon with a cup of chilled tea (yes, it’s my teh-o-ais fetish working up again)…

@ Teddy : hey you understand lots about epreciating life.. many of us do, but not really in describing it into words.. McD? haha you reminds me of my KBU years.. daily lunch or dinner must be at McD bandar utama.. haha suprisingly, I never gain my weight *sigh~

@ Razif : haha enjoy your toast!
