yes again, the day is near.. so what’s your preparation?

do you remember the year when it was near to merdeka day like this, each and everyone of us were raising our flag, the ‘jalur gemilang’ almost everywhere? well i still remember..

it was the day full of patriotism.. really it was. but now after few years, i dont see the spirit beating my heart like before. was it because of the flag? or the people? or maybe the message from the government which is not enough to touch the malaysian’s heart?

lately, most people participate the celebration just to enjoy the fireworks and concerts. girls will celebrate with boyfriends and so do boys.. and parents, bring their children just to enjoy the night, but not the feeling of being a freeman after independance.

where is the spirit of patriotism?
